WHere is an easy interpretation of a beverage featured on a new cocktail list. It's a party-sized pre-mixed that is bursting with tastes of a festive period, rendering it perfect for hosting a holiday party. Any leftover syrup to use in brunch beverages, puddings, or for additional servings of this cocktail.

Yields 10 servings
For the Clementine Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (yields 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
Fresh cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Directions
To prepare the Cordial: Combine all the items in a pan, bring to a light boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Then, turn off the burner allowing it to cool fully. Pour into a sealable bottle, seal keeping it in the fridge, it can be stored for up to a month.
To make Cocktail Base: Mix all the liquid ingredients in a large bottle, allow it to infuse for one hour, then filter it preferably using cheesecloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of your cocktail base into your cocktail shaker containing ice, gently stirring lightly for one minute to chill. Filter into a chilled martini glass or equivalent, garnish with some cranberries adding the final touch using a quick spritz of the essential oil over the top.
